The Thermador SGSP365TS combines five patented Star Burners, a 36 in cooking surface, and continuous cast-iron grates to deliver power, precision, and flexibility for everyday cooking. Its 18,000 BTU center burner is ideal for high-heat cooking, while the surrounding burners allow you to manage several dishes at once.
The five-point design of the Star Burners provides more flame ports to distribute heat more evenly beneath pots and pans than a traditional round burner. All five burners are sealed to make the cooking surface easier to clean.
The center burner delivers up to 18,000 BTU with natural gas, providing the power needed for rapid boiling, searing, and other high-heat cooking. The remaining burners offer output levels suited to everyday cooking and simmering.
The QuickClean base features a teardrop-shaped design that helps contain spills and reduce residue buildup around the burners. The raised burner design also provides enough space to wipe underneath the base with a sponge or cloth for easier cleaning.
The continuous cast-iron grates create a stable surface across the entire width of the cooktop. They make it easy to move pots and pans from one burner to another without having to lift them completely.
The electronic re-ignition system monitors the flame and automatically attempts to relight the burner if the flame is accidentally extinguished during cooking.
